Can we meet you before booking?

I always love to meet before you book as we’ll discuss the detail of your day and everything you want captured. Whether that's specific details or people. Your wedding photography is a very important decision to make.

How long do you shoot for on the day?

I don’t have a set time limit – I shoot for as long as you need me on the day. Telling a story of your day is important to me, so it's not about time limits. Usually arrive 2-3 hours before the ceremony time, to capture the bridal preparations and then will stay after the first dance to get those brilliant dancing photographs!

How many photographs do we get?

There is no set amount of photographs that you’ll receive. I will take photographs of everything beautiful and wonderful throughout the day, and you’ll receive all of the final edited photographs. The more there is to photograph, the more photographs you will receive! But typically from a full day of photography you can expect a minimum of 400 wedding photographs. Both a colour and black & white edit of each.

We hate having our photo taken and can be awkward, is this okay?

Definitely! I always prefer to get those natural photographs over anything posed, I tend to stay out of the way as much as possible, so just pretend I’m not there and I will capture all of the natural smiles and emotions of the day.

We are quite interested in having you as our wedding photographer, how do we book?

If you wish to book me, I take a £300 booking fee and you’ll also need to sign a contract once you are happy with everything. The rest of the payment is then due no later than one month before the wedding.

We don't wish to have the complimentary engagement shoot, can we get a discount for not having it?

As it’s complimentary, I’m afraid I cannot offer discounts. I highly recommend you do give it a try though as It is a great way to feel more comfortable in front of the camera and we’ll get to know each other better too and therefore be more comfortable and prepared for your wedding day. Plus, couples then like to use these images as a great way to invite guests or as a 'save the date' like below

When can we book our engagement shoot? And where can we do it?

You can book anytime between booking and 2 weeks before the wedding. Typically I like to do engagement shoots in a place that means something to you both, however if you do not have any ideas then it's not to hard to find some great locations between us. Due to most weddings being on a Saturday typically mon - thurs evenings are my engagement shoot days.

Can we print our photographs?

All of my packages come with printing rights, so you and your family can print as you wish. However you and anyone with your private password can also purchase through me by using your private online gallery where there are loads of different products to choose from.

What if your equipment malfunctions on the day?

I always make sure I have backup equipment just in case this happens – I have two camera bodies and a whole range of top end lenses, as well as spare batteries and additional memory cards.  My cameras also have dual card slots, which means I have an instant backup while shooting in case one of my memory cards becomes corrupt. Once home I also backup your images online as well as on an additional hard drive.

Are you insured?

Yes! I have public liability insurance, and all of my equipment is insured too.
